Project OSEESE (full meaning “Ogun State Economic Enablement and Social Emancipation (OSEESE) Project is The Opeyemi Agbaje Institute’s initiative aimed at producing a policy template for economic development and empowerment, social emancipation and overall socio-political and economic transformation of Ogun State. The objective is to prepare and provide a clear, compelling and practical policy outline that demonstrates that it is possible to transform Ogun State into a “first world” society comparable to leading European, Asian and American regions by 2035 i.e. in a period of just 16 years from 2019.
Our “Vision 2035” envisages Ogun State as “a developed, first-world region with human capital, quality of life, infrastructure, economic development, institutions and governance standards comparable to leading regions in developed countries”
Project OSEESE is designed to prepare a policy template in English and Yoruba languages that provides a practical pathway to that vision. We intend, over a period of six (6) months from February 1, 2018 to July 31, 2018 to prepare that policy template which we will thereafter present to all relevant stakeholders in Ogun State- the state government, leading politicians, traditional rulers and community leaders, professionals, the business community, civil servants, labour and student leaders, market associations, resident non-indigene groups and the media.
Project OSEESE is the inaugural launch project of The Opeyemi Agbaje Institute Ltd/Gte and is funded by our founder’s personal resources and donations from friends, associates and good spirited indigenes of Ogun State.
